I grew up in St. Louis, MO and after graduating from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Masters in Economics, I moved to Charlotte, NC in 1971 to teach at Central Piedmont Community College. I taught Accounting, Economics and computer classes until 2002. 

In the mid 1990's, I started my Karaoke entertainment business, Terryfic Times. Shortly after that, I became a resource for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools for before and after school programs. In 2002, I decided to open a small paper crafting retail store, keeping the name Terryfic Times. 

In 1977, I married Bob Terry, a CPA now retired. We are the proud grandparents of Nick, Drew and Daniel.
