Mola Templates
The Mola templates give you cards with a unique combination of cuts and colors. Attach the template to your card with removable tape, Cut the basic pattern out of your card along the edges of the template. Glue another sheet of paper in a different color behind the pattern which was cut out. Cut the desired portions of the pattern out of this second paper, making sure that a small strip of the cut-out paper remains visible along the edges of the basic pattern. This strip should be at least 1 mm wide or wider. Then glue another piece of paper behind the pattern and cut the same figure or other figures. This time a second small strip will be visible around the basic pattern. Continue gluing other layers of paper and cutting out until the desired result is reached.
Helpful Hint: Use a #16 Exacto knife and a swivel clip board when using the Molas and other cutting templates.
